Geely Philippines is starting 2021 off strong with a new addition to its growing lineup of dealerships here in the country. Hot off the success of the launch of the Geely Okavango the automotive brand wants to further its reach to its growing fan and customer base. The new Geely dealership is owned and managed by the Sojitz G Auto Philippines’ partner dealer Angcore Motor group.
Our partnership with Angcore Motor Group is another step forward in Geely Philippines’ bid to expand its dealer network throughout the country. I would like to welcome the Angcore Motor Group to Geely’s growing family.
As the new owner and management of the new Geely dealership, the Angcore Motor group comes well versed in car sales. The business group brings to the table its diverse knowledge in sales as well as its more than 40 years of experience, as the group was founded back in 1976. The president of the Angcore Motor Group states that “As Geely started to get noticed and make headlines last year with its sales performance and good market reception, I believe this year would be better for the brand. We are pleased to be part of Geely’s expansion in the country.”
The addition of the General Santos facility brings the total count of dealerships under the Geely name in the Philippines to a total of 7. In 2020 Geely stated its plans that it would be further expanding its dealerships in the country. The current list of active dealerships consists of North EDSA, Quezon Avenue, Cagayan de Oro, Lipa, Zamboanga, and Imus, Cavite. With that said the automotive brand still has further expansion plans in the Philippines for 2021, as 21 more dealerships are in the works or are expected to rise within the same year. With many more facilities on the way and with Geely staying true to its promise of launching a new model every 6 months, the automotive brand could soon be a top contender in the Philippine market.
