Wouldn't it be great to win a car by just playing a video game? Now you can by dominating and winning the 1st Forza Racing Championship (ForzaRC) which has a 2017 Ford Focus RS as its grand prize.
The ForzaRC is a global virtual racing tournament organized by Electronic Sports League (ESL) Gaming. It uses the online multiplayer feature of the Forza Motorsport 6 racing game for the Microsoft XBox One gaming console. The tournament which is divided into two 3-week series, the Elite and the Open, will run from August 8 to September 4, 2016.
The Elite Series is where hardcore Forza Motorsport 6 players duke it out on a qualifying event held each week. Each event allows 128 players to move up into the elimination rounds. Only the top 16 players from each elimination round will have the chance to compete in the weekly finals. The top 4 players from these will then form a 12-car grid going into the ForzaRC Elite Series Grand Finals on September 4. Whoever crosses the line first shall win the grand prize – a brand new 2017 Ford Focus RS.
This American hot hatch prides itself with an aggressively-styled exterior and a sleek interior with Recaro sport seats. It also features the Ford SYNC system in an 8-inch touch screen LCD headunit for entertainment and navigation. Under the hood resides a turbocharged 350 hp 2.3L inline 4-cylinder EcoBoost gasoline engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission that drives all 4 wheels.
Interested in joining? You may register here at ELS Gaming’s online registration page. Be sure to abide by its rules and regulations.
