Presented by Globe Telecom, in partnership with the Lotus Formula One Team, the event, dubbed as the “Slipstream”, invited everyone to see fast, hear fast, and be fast, as tons of motor sports themed activities were held for the entire family and auto racing fans to enjoy.

Bringing out that innate speed-lover within everyone, the event was highlighted by our very own Filipino-Swiss Formula One Junior superstar and "Prince of Speed" Marlon Stockinger, as he went on an all-out full-throttle action, on-board his Lotus WSR Gravity Charouz Formula Renault 3.5 racecar around a strategically-mapped route within the streets of BGC, turning the central business and commercial district into a race track.

Cameras and camera-phones at the ready, race fans and onlookers were quick to press the shutter button, as the roaring racecar zoomed past them,

Every turn, every gear, and every rev was seen, heard, and felt as he blazed through the BGC race course, reaching velocities of up to 200kph on the straights. Cameras and camera-phones at the ready, race fans and onlookers were quick to press the shutter button, as the roaring racecar zoomed past them, leaving trails of cheers and applause.

To boost things up a notch, attractions such as vintage and sports car parades, and car exhibitions were held in-between Marlon’s three sets of rounds, adding loads more of panning photography ops for the automotive shutterbugs.

In addition, Lotus F1 car displays and other motor sports themed activities for the entire family were held in the Bonifacio High Street, which not only provided fun, entertainment, and bonding opportunities, but also chances of availing freebies and winning prizes, including a chance to bag tickets for a trip to the 2014 Formula One Singapore GP this September.
