The Changan CS35 Plus was well-received one year after its launch, particularly for its style, in-car entertainment, and advanced safety features under the SafeTech umbrella. This SUV is also praised for its power and fuel efficiency, making it suitable for highway and city driving.
This is attributed to the patented Changan BlueCore engine technology, which provides a smooth and quiet driving experience. With the CS35 Plus, you can confidently drive when even when surrounded by bigger guys whizzing past you or while you warm your butt during daily traffic.
The Changan Blue Core engine has earned a place among China's Top 10 engines thanks to its exceptional performance in acceleration, noise and vibration reduction, and carbon emissions reduction. Its power, stability, and fuel efficiency have impressed experts around the globe and here in the country.

The 1.4-liter Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection engine provides a maximum output of 156 hp and 260 Nm of torque, making it an energetic option for daily driving. With a 7-Speed Dual Clutch transmission, power delivery is smooth and provides ample acceleration when needed.
The suspension system of this vehicle is designed to provide a balance between driving comfort and durability. The front MacPherson suspension and torsion beam suspension at the back ensure a smooth and stable ride. The Electronic Power Steering system in the CS35 Plus offers three different modes - "Sport" for stable control at high speeds, "Comfortable" for lighter control during parking or navigating through traffic, and "Standard" for daily city driving under normal road conditions.
As an added bonus, the CS35 Plus is an economical car. In the fuel economy run conducted by the Automobile Association of the Philippines last year, the Changan CS35 Plus 1.4T DCT demonstrated impressive fuel efficiency with a recorded 21.495 km/L for highway (NLEX) driving and 15.25 km/L for city driving.
With these features, the CS35 Plus is a strong competitor in its segment. In addition, the vehicle comes with added benefits that provide peace of mind and low ownership costs, such as Changan's Vital 5 program. This program includes a 5-year or 150,000 km mileage warranty, Changan Pacesetter roadside assistance and towing service, Changan Fastlane's 60-minute service guarantee with free PMS labor for the first year or first 20,000 km, Changan Veloservice for convenient online service appointment booking, and quick and efficient assistance from CAIA, Changan's AI Chatbot.
