Volkswagen Philippines has a new set of colors for its ever-popular T-Cross. The subcompact crossover gets a little lineup update with a trio of new and fun colors for customers to choose from.
The T-Cross has been blazing a trail for Volkswagen, rising through the ranks and becoming one of the brand’s best sellers. While the market has been received so far, these new colors could entice a few more customers, especially those that have been waiting for the perfect shade of blue, white, or grey.
Starting out with the first color, the Makena Turquoise is a playful mix of blue and green tones. Definitely leaning more towards a bluish hue, this colorway presents a fun and young aesthetic for the crossover. Given how Volkswagen likes to match its exterior and interior accent colors, we can expect that this will be a very fun color for buyers to drive around with.
As for the next color, a new shade of white was introduced to the lineup called Pure White. A flatter white than most, it looks the part by giving a nice and clean aesthetic to the crossover. Professional, sedate, but still bright, the color meshes well with the professional side of the T-Cross’ design very well.
Meanwhile, the most subdued color in the lineup, Moonstone Grey, is not your typical gray. Most greys are metallic, but this one appears to have a flatter finish in comparison. The result is a monotone hue with a bit of pop. It’s a bit of an in-between, as the grey aesthetic matches well in a business setting, but it still evokes a fun character in line with the T-Cross’ young personality.
All of these new colors join the T-Cross lineup in the Philippines. The three existing colors, Syringa Violet, Tribu Yellow, and Romance Red, will be added. The previous white and dark grey colorways getting booted from the selection.
After that, everything remains the same. The T-Cross still has its 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated inline-four gasoline motor that makes 111 hp and 145 Nm of torque. The model will still be sold at the same price as before, and we’re still guaranteed a three-year or 100,000 warranty coverage program along with other benefits such as an emergency roadside assistance program, and a comprehensive after sales service experience.
