The Vios Autocross challenge is kicking off this Sunday, April 28,2019. Earlier this year, Toyota rebranded its Vios Cup and expanded it to include an Autocross Challenge. This leg of the Vios Racing Festival aims to bring the action closer to the heart of the Metro. The event will be held at Block 16, Mall of Asia Grounds, Pasay City, and starts at 9:00 AM.
A star studded ensemble of racers will participate in the autocross challenge. Celebrities such as Gerald Anderson, Daniel Matsunaga, Chie Filomeno, Gretchen Ho, Aubrey Miles, Troy Montero, and Fabio Ide will be at the event to post their fastest times and go for the gold. Fans can come and cheer on their favorite stars without paying an admission fee. Everyone is invited to watch, but some will be invited to race.
Toyota has announced that the racing festival will have a special promotion for Toyota owners who wish to participate in the challenge. Interested drivers can visit Toyota’s Facebook page to play an online game that will determine who gets to be a racing driver for a weekend.
