With a name like Zero, you might expect nothing—but Lynk & Co is more than ready to deliver everything with its newest model.
As we move closer to the middle of the year, Lynk & Co's highly anticipated Zero model is once again in the spotlight, thanks to newly leaked images that offer a more complete view of its design, as reported by Car News China. The leaked images, revealing the side and back views, seem to have been deliberately released to create excitement for the vehicle's upcoming launch.
The images shared by a user named SugarDesign on Weibo show clear differences between Zero and its related model, the Zeekr 001, contrary to earlier assumptions. Instead, Zero's design seems to be more similar to Lynk & Co's 07 EM-P model, which is obvious from the new design of the Dawn Light running lights and the vehicle's overall shape. The front end features a sharply sloped hood and an air intake, giving it a modern and aggressive appearance. New details like specially designed low-drag alloy wheels, which differ from those seen on earlier camouflaged versions, and the sharply rising window line between the C and D pillars make its forward-looking design even better.
At the rear, the car shows off a ducktail spoiler and a full-width light bar interrupted by four rectangular protrusions, suggesting an aggressive tack to the back design. The car is expected to measure over five meters long, with a nearly three-meter wheelbase - yes, a spacious interior, most probably! Built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, the Zero is expected to include an AI digital chassis and 800V architecture, similar to the other Zeekr models. The car is likely to have features like four-wheel steering and advanced suspension technologies allowing maneuvers such as tank turns and crab walking.
With a projected price range of 200,000 to 300,000 yuan (approximately Php 1,614,743.09 to Php 2,422,114.63), the Lynk & Co Zero may be the newest competition against the Xiaomi SU7 and IM L6.
