Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has successfully wrapped up its “Hope in a Bag” initiative in partnership with Knowell PH, a local brand known for producing bags made from sustainable materials. Throughout 2025, the collaboration was featured during key events such as the Hyundai Mobility Experience, where customers were able to redeem exclusive Hyundai-branded Knowell bags through on-site promotions.
For every bag redeemed at these events, Hyundai committed to donating one school bag, allowing customers to directly take part in a meaningful cause. This approach not only enhanced the customer experience but also strengthened the program’s community impact.
Last December, HMPH and Knowell distributed a total of 1,130 school bags filled with essential school supplies to children from various local communities and schools. Turnover ceremonies were held in coordination with local government units, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, and school administrators. Beneficiaries included communities in Talisay City, Cebu; Taguig City; Iba, Zambales; as well as DSWD residential care facilities such as Marillac Hills, Haven for Children, and Nayon ng Kabataan.
The initiative highlights Hyundai’s global vision of “Progress for Humanity” by extending its commitment beyond mobility and into education and community development.
“Hyundai Motor Philippines is a proud partner of Knowell PH. We are thrilled to have donated over a thousand schoolbags to several beneficiaries nationwide to cap off 2025, all thanks to the support of our customers. This shows our customers that when you are a Hyundai owner, you get to make a difference.”
The “Hope in a Bag” project is just one of many ways Hyundai continues to reinforce its focus on social responsibility and sustainability. According to the brand, it seeks to creat positive impact not only through innovation in mobility but also through meaningful community engagement.
