Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) ended 2017 on a high with 31,758 units sold. This sum beats their 2016 sales record by 37% or 8,559 vehicles, posting the highest result in the Japanese brand’s history in the country.
This feat was spearheaded by Honda’s best-selling model, the City, after getting a 6% year-over-year growth with a total of 9,430 units now on the road. The BR-V seven-seater SUV followed behind as the brand sold 7,212 units in 2017.
On behalf of Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our customers for continuously making Honda their preferred brand. We are fully committed to continuing our dedication of putting our customers first and in delivering high quality products and services in partnership with our Dealerships. We look forward to serving and satisfying more Filipino Customers this year and making their dreams of owning a Honda come true.
Meanwhile, the 10th generation Civic also edged out its previous sales performance by 66% or 4,146. As for the all-new CR-V, it managed to record 2,799 sales despite just being launched last August 2017. HCPI says that its sales performance is all thanks to the positive reception of the local market and the fact that it was crowned Car of the Year 2017 by the Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI).
