The 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) is officially in full swing with manufacturers ready to strut their stuff and showcase their latest line of vehicles and technologies. One such brand is Honda Philippines which has the new Honda HR-V RS model to show off to the public along with a quick preview of the upcoming all-new Honda BR-V as well. Aside from this the Japanese automaker also has a preview of its Honda CONNECT technology along with other car-related accessories. Also on display were popular models in the brand's local lineup such as the Honda City, Honda Civic, and the Honda CR-V.
Honda HR-V RS
Starting with the Honda HR-V RS, this will be the new top-of-the-line model for the nameplate in the country. It comes with an all-new exterior and interior design that is sportier and has advanced safety and technology. For the exterior, the HR-V RS comes with a Sporty Chrome Front Grille and RS Emblem with Red Amp up Logo on the lower bumper. It also gets a new set of 18-inch RS Design Gray alloy wheels, along with LED sequential turn signals.
To make it more aggressive looking, this RS variant also gets a Smoke LED Light Bar, and a Glossy Black with Chrome Bumper. On the side, the RS variant has a Side Sill Garnish with Chrome, paired up with Side Sill Garnish Glossy Black to give the range-topping variant an elevated sporty image and design.
On the inside, the layout of the HR-V remains the same but comes with a few accents to differentiate it from the rest of the other variants. The RS comes with sporty pedals and a leather interior that comes with red stitching. As far as its safety features are concerned, it still comes with much of the same Honda SENSING technology that is available in the 1.5 V Turbo model. As for its pricing, it can be had for P1,739,000.

Aside from the new variant of the HR-V, the all-new Honda BR-V has also made a quick appearance. While its specifications have yet to be revealed the new 7-seater still carries with it a new stylish design along with a new set of features. the All-New BR-V is the SUV engineered for life’s possibilities given its strong body, sleek design, and dimensions that will both be larger and higher. It will come with enhanced safety and new technology features that remain faithful to the high value for money that it is already known for. Make sure to visit the Honda booth at the motor show if you want to see the all-new BR-V in the metal.

Vehicle launches and previews aside, Honda Philippines has also presented a preview of the Honda CONNECT. This feature through smart telematics technology will allow users to connect with their vehicles via a smartphone application. This new app aims to provide safety, security, and convenience through its different features such as vehicle diagnostics, remote applications, security applications, vehicle tracking, and support services. Working well in both Android and iOS operating systems, having the Honda CONNECT is similar to having a personal assistant and will certainly enhance the ownership experience.
