After recently bumping through some spy shots and some patent images, the all-new 2022 Honda Civic finally goes official after the brand released a teaser video which slightly uncovers the looks of the upcoming model.
The compact car may have matured by this time, though it does embark a sportier presence which should appeal to younger buyers, still. Honda did flaunt a number of design cues applied to the 2022 Civic, therefore exposing several angles of the vehicle. Upfront, it now gets a flatter fascia that is highlighted with a new pair of headlights along with a blacked-out finish on its grille.
Going over the side, you’ll notice the application of chrome below the doors along with an embossed text spelled as ‘Honda Design. The side mirrors may seem to be blacked-out as well, therefore making it synonymous with the grille and its wheels.
As for the rear, the Civic also gets a new lighting system, and notably, the LED pattern is somewhat synonymous with the ones found on the headlights, therefore giving this car a uniformed look. Going in accordance with its sporty theme are the dual exhaust pipes along with a shiny black finish on the rear bumper. For a closer and more in-depth look, you can watch its teaser below.
Now, we assume that the model shown is the range-topping variant of the pack. This is perhaps the top of the line trim given the generous application of sporty goodies. While the inside may have remained a mystery, for now, we do expect that the 2022 Civic will be getting a nice interior that should well complement its well-executed exterior.
Honda is set to debut the Civic prototype this coming November 17. That’s quite near from now, actually, and we just can’t contain our excitement. Surely, many have been in anticipation of this upcoming model, therefore, stay tuned for more juicy updates on this sweet ride.
