Seeing a few Hyundai cars bearing the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup livery roaming Metro Manila the past few weeks? We’ve got the answer for you. Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) reinforced its long-standing partnership with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) by turning over a fleet of Vehicles-in-Kind (VIK) to support the first-ever FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup hosted in the Philippines. The historic tournament ran from November 21 to December 7, 2025, bringing world-class futsal action to local fans for the very first time.
The turnover marked another key chapter in Hyundai’s decades-long support for global football. The relationship dates back to 1999, when Hyundai Motor Company became an official global partner of FIFA, a collaboration that has since grown into one of the most established partnerships in international sport.
For the Philippine-hosted competition, HMPH provided a diverse lineup that included the Santa Fe, the Tucson, the Kona Hybrid, and several Staria variants. Throughout the tournament, these vehicles were tasked with transporting officials, athletes, and technical teams, ensuring smooth and comfortable mobility between venues.
“We are honored to support FIFA as they bring world-class futsal to the Philippines for the very first time. Hyundai has been a proud global partner of FIFA for 25 years, and this local turnover is a meaningful extension of that legacy. By providing dependable mobility through our latest models, we hope to contribute to a successful tournament and to the continued growth of football and futsal in the country.”
Beyond logistics, the VIK turnover highlights Hyundai’s belief in the unifying power of sports and its ability to inspire progress. It also reflects the brand’s global vision of “Progress for Humanity,” extending Hyundai’s mission of mobility well beyond the dealership and onto the world stage.
