Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) gathered its nationwide dealer network last April 13 at the Solaire Resort Entertainment City Grand Ballroom to hand out the hardware at its annual Dealer of the Year (DOTY) Awards. The night celebrated the dealerships and individuals who put up strong numbers and solid performances throughout 2025.
This year's event carried the theme "Forged in Strength, Driven to Victory," a nod to Hyundai Steel, which supplies the Advanced High Strength Steel used across Hyundai's vehicle lineup. The theme fits well considering the brand's broader push to build vehicles that hold up under pressure while remaining safe and durable over the long run. HMPH framed the evening around that same idea, using it to spotlight a dealer network that has kept showing up year after year.
The biggest recognition of the night went to Hyundai Naga City, which walked away as the Overall 2026 Dealer of the Year. The Bicol-based dealership topped the field across all measured categories, including Sales, Aftersales, Parts, Customer Experience, Dealer Network, Marketing, and overall operational excellence. It's the first time Hyundai Naga City has claimed the top prize, and it says a lot about how HMPH's regional presence has grown well beyond Metro Manila. Under the leadership of President William Chiongbian II, the dealership has been part of the Hyundai network since 2016.
Hyundai Quezon Avenue landed First Runner-Up, while Hyundai Alabang took Second Runner-Up, both recognized for their consistency and contributions to the brand's growth in their respective markets.
“Global leadership, beyond being a rank, is defined by our mindset: a constant desire for better, which challenges us to evolve and to never stand still. Here in the Philippines, we are proud to see that same motivation reflected in every showroom and customer experience led by our dealer network.”
Beyond the top three, HMPH handed out awards across several other categories. On the sales side, Hyundai Quezon Avenue topped Tier 1 in Sales Volume, Hyundai Pampanga led Tier 2, and Hyundai Santiago took Tier 3. For Parts Sales, Hyundai Pasig led Tier 1, Hyundai Bacolod took Tier 2, and Hyundai Santiago again claimed Tier 3.
Hyundai Naga City continued its strong showing by also winning Top Sales Target Attainment and Excellence in Sales Operations. Hyundai Bacolod had a productive night as well, picking up Excellence in After Sales Service Operations, Excellence in After Sales Parts Operations, and Excellence in Hyundai Global Customer 'Xperience. Hyundai Santiago swept the CRM and Service Marketing categories, taking home Best in CRM Operations and Best in Service Marketing. Hyundai Quezon Avenue added to its haul with Best in Service Outreach Activity and Excellence in HDPM.
On the recognition side, Hyundai Marikina earned Rookie of the Year honors, while Hyundai General Santos was named Most Improved Dealer. Hyundai Lipa Batangas rounded out the category winners with Excellence in Marketing Operations. Dealerships are grouped into tiers based on size, location, and other internal benchmarks set by HMPH. Individual performers from within the dealer network were also recognized, putting a spotlight on the people behind the showrooms who have helped push the Hyundai brand forward in their communities.
