Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI) more commonly known as Hyundai Philippines delivered a fleet of 50 buses to its long-time business partner Victory Liner Inc.(VLI). The transport company is one of the biggest provincial bus companies in the country. The fleet of 50 people transporters consist of the South Korean automaker’s Universe line of buses. The new fleet is part of VLI’s upgrading program in compliance with the government’s Euro IV emission standards.
Victory Liner, Inc. President Johnny T. Hernandez, on the other hand, states that Victory Liner’s mission is to move people better. This is done by giving passengers a safe, timely, cost-efficient, and quality transport service. Hernandez further states that by working with HARI, the partnership will bring VLI one step closer to achieving its company goals.

The Hyundai Universe is a heavy-duty bus that the Korean car manufacturer states combines dynamic performance and luxurious style. The bus is made to be durable thanks to Hyundai’s cutting-edge technology. To make the bus automatic welding technology was used, this was in combination with robot technology and a cathodic electrodeposition system.
Powering the bus is a 12.3-liter Euro IV compliant electronic diesel engine that produces 374hp. According to Hyundai the engine also delivers impressive fuel efficiency that will result in maximized profits and cleaner emissions for the buyer. The Hyundai Universe can seat 49+1 passengers comfortably.
The South Korean auto manufacturer’s buses now account for a third of the bus liner’s 1,100 unit bus fleet. Hyundai commercial vehicles come with a 3-year or a 200,000-kilometer mileage warranty, whichever comes first. The Korean brand also supports its customer base with programs such as the Call for Service Inspection (CSI) that sends technicians to repair Hyundai commercial vehicle fleets right at the customer’s doorstep.
