Hyundai Cup 2026

Hyundai Motor Asia Pacific is gearing up for one of the biggest football seasons in the region. The South Korean automaker has rolled out a new regional campaign called "Hyundai, Driving ASEAN as One," timed around the upcoming Hyundai Cup 2026, the ASEAN Championship scheduled to run from July 24 to August 26 this year.

As the tournament's title partner, Hyundai is looking to bring together fans from 11 countries through a shared love of the sport. The campaign ties back to the brand's broader global vision, "Progress for Humanity," and leans heavily on football as a vehicle for regional connection.

The concept itself is straightforward. Football has always had a way of cutting through barriers, whether cultural, linguistic, or geographic, and that's exactly the angle Hyundai is working with here. The brand has been involved in global sports sponsorships for over 27 years, so Hyundai has experience in this field. What makes this one distinct is the regional focus, putting Southeast Asia front and center.

Stargazer Front

Hyundai is using the Stargazer as its hero model for the campaign, and the choice makes sense given the vehicle's positioning and its fame in Southeast Asia. Built around family mobility and everyday practicality, the Stargazer is the kind of car that speaks to ASEAN buyers. Spacious, comfortable, and designed for group travel, it fits naturally into a campaign about togetherness.

On the ground, fans can expect a fair amount of activity. The Hyundai Cup 2026 Trophy Tour is already underway, with match-day activations, fan giveaways, and test-drive events planned across the region throughout the duration of the tournament.

“Hyundai Motor Philippines is proud to celebrate sportsmanship and the spirit of going the extra mile –whether on the road or in the pitch. Through this campaign, we aim to connect the passion for football with the Hyundai STARGAZER, a vehicle designed to bring people closer together. More than being a car company, we are committed to creating meaningful and memorable experiences for our customers, and we look forward to bringing the Hyundai Cup™ 2026 to the Philippines very soon.”
