The Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid takes home Best Family-Friendly Car award

The Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy Hybrid has been named Best Family-Friendly Car at the fifth annual Modern Parenting Parent’s Choice Awards, held on August 29, 2026, at the Hilton Manila Ballroom in Newport World Resorts.

The annual awards recognize products and brands that cater to the changing needs of modern Filipino families. Under the Must-Haves category, the Santa Fe Hybrid emerged as the top pick in the Best Family Car category, highlighting its combination of practicality, comfort, safety, and efficiency.

The latest-generation Santa Fe brings a noticeably larger and bolder approach to the family crossover formula. Its longer wheelbase translates to more room inside the cabin, giving passengers across all three rows additional space and comfort. The fully foldable second and third-row seats also add flexibility, allowing owners to free up more cargo room for everything from weekend trips to daily errands.

Powering the crossover is a hybrid powertrain designed to balance performance with fuel efficiency. In raw numbers, the hybrid Santa Fe puts out 232 hp and 367 Nm of torque to all four wheels, delivered via a six-speed automatic transmission. It also comes equipped with Hyundai SmartSense, a suite of driver assistance technologies that includes Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist. Together, these features help make the Santa Fe Hybrid suited for both everyday city driving and longer family road trips.
