Back in July, the facelifted Hyundai Stargazer made its official debut in Indonesia; now, it’s our turn to get the new and improved Stargazer. According to Hyundai, this update brings more to its MPV than just a refreshed exterior, stating that the interior and tech features also got some love. Without further ado, let’s take a look at what’s new for the 2026 Stargazer.
Starting with the exterior, the new Stargazer features a more commanding stance than before, thanks to a front fascia inspired by its bigger brother, the Palisade. The flatter front end is home to a wider grille, a light bar in the middle, and rectangular headlights, replacing the side-mounted setup from the pre-facelift model. Down below, a brushed metal trim completes the look, flanked by side intakes where the headlights used to be. At the sides, the new Stargazer features a set of new alloy wheels with a new geometric pattern.
Moving to the rear, the Stargazer keeps its H-shaped taillights but now looks sharper and more sophisticated. Again, inspired by the Creta and Palisade, the slimmer lamps and cleaner Hyundai branding lend a polished feel, complemented by a subtly redesigned rear bumper.
In terms of dimensions, the new Stargazer gets an additional 80 mm in length, but retains the 2,780 mm wheelbase.
Inside, the refreshed Stargazer features a new dual-screen layout that seamlessly integrates the digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system into a single, cohesive display. The Stargazer X Premium and X GLS variants get a new 10.25-inch infotainment system, while the standard Stargazer GLS and GL get an eight-inch screen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, along with voice recognition. Meanwhile, the A/C vents adopt a fresh design reminiscent of the latest Tucson, giving the cabin a more premium feel. Completing the update is a revised climate control system, which replaces the traditional dials with sleek toggle switches and an accompanying display for a more modern and intuitive interface.
As for safety, standard features across the range include two front airbags, anti-lock brakes, ISOFIX child anchors, a child lock, and an immobilizer. Features exclusive to the top-of-the-line Stargazer X Premium include adaptive cruise control, forward collision avoidance assist, lane-following assist, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, plus front and rear parking sensors.
Propelling this MPV is the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine from before. The Hyundai Gamma II engine develops 113 hp and 144 Nm of torque. The sole transmission option for the entire range is Hyundai’s Intelligent Variable Transmission.
Prices? The new Stargazer line starts at P1,118,000 for the GL Plus IVT, followed by the GLS IVT at P1,228,000. For the Stargazer X line, the X GLS Plus IVT is priced at P1,318,000, followed by the top-of-the-line X Premium IVT at P1,378,000.
