The Hyundai Venue in the United States has been awarded the “Best Value of 2021” by Cars.com. The newly created award was designed to address the needs of consumers who are facing a tough economic environment due to the ongoing pandemic. The Hyundai Venue was able to win the award thanks to its impressive number of features, performance, and highly competitive price point in the U.S.

The award further establishes the subcompact crossover’s competitiveness in the U.S., and the same can be said for the Hyundai Venue in the Philippines. It comes at an attractive price of just under P1,000,000, and lets you choose between two variants. This makes the vehicle ideal for those looking to get an affordable car that’s feature-packed as well. Not to mention the Hyundai Venue also comes with an impressive 170mm of ground clearance that lets the vehicle go over bumps and ruts with ease.

Just like in the United States, the Hyundai Venue available locally comes powered by a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine that produces 121hp and 147 Nm of torque. This motor, paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), gives the vehicle great fuel efficiency according to the South Korean automaker. Hyundai even states that the transmission won’t even feel like a CVT, but will feel closer to that of normal automatic transmission.

On the inside, the Philippine Hyundai Venue, just like its U.S counterpart, is packed with features, as it sports an 8-inch LCD display infotainment system that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. The infotainment system is available for both the GLS and GL variants in the Philippines.
