Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) thrilled Iloilo with its 4x4 Action Playground featuring the mu-X and the D-MAX. IPC put up a 4x4 off-road course at Donato Piston Avenue, San Rafael, Mandurriao in Iloilo City from June 24 to 26, 2016.
Similar to the previous 4x4 Action Playground held at the SM Mall of Asia last April 2016, the event highlighted the off-road capabilities of the mu-X and the D-MAX. With that, IPC pitted two units each of the mu-X 4x4 LS-A and the D-MAX 4x4 LS for test drives.
To demonstrate the capabilities of the said vehicles, the 4x4 Action Playground featured obstacles such as the slipper slope, articulation ramp, 40-degree transverse-angle ramp, and the 20-foot ‘Thrill Hill’.
IPC President Hajime Koso said in a statement that Iloilo City have always supported the company. Koso also said that the 4x4 Action Playground is Isuzu’s way to further foster their relationship with the province.
Iloilo City and its people have always drawn our attention in Isuzu Philippines because of the support they have consistently shown Isuzu vehicles. By bringing the Isuzu 4x4 Action Playground to Iloilo City, we hope to further foster our relationship with the province and its people in a manner that is both meaningful and fun,” said Koso.
In case you’re wondering, the mu-X 4x4 LS-A and the D-MAX 4x4 LS are both powered by a 3.0L diesel engine that delivers 163 HP and 380 Nm of torque.
