It’s still the season for sales reports as sales numbers from 2019 are still coming in. According to the latest figures from the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) and the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI), Isuzu Philippines Corporation was able to take the top spot in terms of truck sales performance.

This marks the 20th straight year for the local importer, distributor, and assembler of commercial Isuzu vehicles in the country to get the number one overall rank in truck sales. From January to December 2019, Isuzu was able to sell a total of 6,279 categories 3,4 and 5 trucks. This number represents a 45% market share out of the 14,049 total brand new trucks sold in the previous year.

Where IPC had a strong showing was in the Category 3 (Light Duty Truck) segment where it was able to sell 4,241 units which consisted of its light duty lineup of trucks which includes the N-Series and Isuzu Traviz amongst other offerings. It was also able to hold the top spot for the Category 4 (Medium Duty Truck) segment with 1,566 units sold with the likes of the F-Series and E-Series backing it up. Isuzu also did well in the Category 5 (Heavy Duty Truck) segment coming second place with 472 units sold certain models of the E-Series and C-Series consisting of these sales.

IPC President Hajime Koso stated that the company was able to contribute to Isuzu’s global reputation as a leading truck maker with the brand’s continued success locally. This is also in part due to the reliability, parts availability, and durability of the Japanese automaker’s commercial vehicles. The comprehensive products and services that the brand releases embody the company’s commitment as “Your responsible partner” to its customer base.

Owners also get the benefit of the brand’s four Isuzu Advantages – a series of customer support programs that bolster its product lineup. The first of four advantages is the IPC’s roster of durable, reliable, and fuel-efficient vehicles. The second advantage is its dealership network coming in with 43 outlets nationwide complete with servicing facilities. The third is the Japanese automaker’s parts availability nationwide. Last of the list of Isuzu advantages is the team of expert service technicians and field support personnel who are ready to provide the customer with assistance whenever, and wherever they need it.

By being your responsible partners, IPC does not just supply world-class vehicles, but we also provide solutions to meet their business needs. Their growth is essential to IPC’s growth, the development of the Philippine transport sector and of the economy in general. Hence, we provide total support to our partner’s businesses with great products and aftersales support.
