Isuzu Philippines gives ₱300,000 for mangrove rehabilitation and aids public school students in Alaminos.

We usually geek out over trims and torque, but this one hits a little differently. Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has donated P300,000 to the City Government of Alaminos through its Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).

The donation will help fund mangrove planting projects, which are important for protecting coastlines, providing shelter for marine life, and helping fight climate change. This is not the first time IPC has helped out in the area, as the brand has been working with Alaminos since 2005, when they first adopted a coastal spot to support environmental efforts.

According to IPC, the company sees its role as more than just providing vehicles and services. They shared that helping restore ecosystems like mangroves is a way of giving back to the communities that have supported them through the years. Aside from the environment-focused donation, IPC also helped Longos Elementary School in Alaminos, one of the city’s most underprivileged and far-flung schools. The company provided 140 students with school bags, notebooks, and other supplies, along with two printers and ink for the school’s daily use. This donation aims to lighten the load on families and help students as they return to school.

Alaminos City Mayor Arth Bryan Celeste thanked IPC for continuing to support the city’s goals. He said the donation will be a big help both for the environment and the children in their community.

“We are deeply grateful to Isuzu Philippines Corporation for being a part of our city’s story since 2005. Their latest initiative assures us that meaningful public-private partnerships can drive long-term progress. Their donations will go a long way in restoring our mangroves and empowering our students.”

Isuzu says both efforts are part of its promise to act as a “responsible partner” and show care not just for businesses but for society. Their recent projects also support global goals tied to environmental protection and access to quality education. It’s always nice to see a car brand that cares.
