Jetour Auto Philippines Inc. (JAPI) and its team had a busy November last year as they participated in the first-ever Jetour Global Service Skills Competition hosted at the Jetour International Headquarters in Wuhu, China.
The competition, which took place from November 20 to November 26, 2023, saw seventeen teams from diverse corners of the globe participate in a service and aftersales skills competition. These teams represented Jetour from the Americas (Colombia, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay), Eurasia (Bahrain, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, Oman, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan), and Africa (Egypt).
At the start of the event, Jetour International executives, led by Jackie Chen, the President of Jetour International, and Anguo "Andy" Yuan, the General Manager of Jetour International, extended a warm welcome to the participants. Their messages marked the start of the competition on November 22, 2023.
Team JAPI had a strong showing in both theoretical and practical exams, securing the sixth position among the top eight teams after the assessment of results. Egypt claimed the top spot, followed by Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Iran, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and Kazakhstan.
Aside from the competition, the Jetour global teams engaged in informative sessions that familiarized members with new products. A roundtable meeting, involving Jetour International executives, country leaders, distributors, and department heads, explored ways to enhance aftersales services.
Ultimately, the competition concluded on a note of friendship, and camaraderie. The inaugural Jetour Global Service Skills Competition wrapped up with a celebratory dinner at Mount Huangshan (Yellow Mountains) in Anhui Province. The evening culminated in a spectacular fireworks display and bonfire, fostering stronger bonds among all competition participants, as well as officers and executives of Jetour International.
For team JAPI, the first Jetour Global Service Skills Competition provided the team with a platform to highlight the innate talents and passion for service of Filipinos within the automotive industry. The commendable performance of Team JAPI not only elevates Jetour International's confidence in the Philippine market but also exposes the team to diversity and global competition, thereby enhancing the members' skills and experience. Down the line, this experience could mean a better customer experience for Jetour’s local customer base here in the Philippines.
