There’s clearly no holding back from JETOUR this time. JETOUR Auto Philippines officially launched the T1 Lightning i-DM, its latest hybrid SUV, through a large event at The Cove, Okada Manila. Over 400 guests joined the celebration, including media, new car owners, and dealer and bank partners.
The day began with a press conference where JETOUR executives shared their plans for the brand in the Philippines. This was followed by test drives near the Boardwalk area, giving guests a chance to try the car while enjoying the Manila Bay view. At night, the main launch program opened with messages from local and international executives. The T1 Lightning i-DM was then revealed on stage with music and lights, showing off its bold design and features.
The event also introduced the ACTIVLife Smartwatch, which can unlock the car, start the engine, and control windows. As part of a special promo, the first 100 buyers of the JETOUR T1 Lightning i-DM will receive a free ACTIVLife Smartwatch.
The T1 Lightning i-DM is powered by a plug-in hybrid setup. It uses a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that makes 140 hp and 215 Nm of torque, paired with a 150 kW electric motor that adds 310 Nm. These are controlled by a DHT hybrid gearbox and supported by an Ultra-Safe Cage Body Structure with Laser Tailoring for safety.
Inside, the car has a 10.25-inch digital instrument display and a large 15.6-inch center control screen. It also comes with nine-layer sun protection glass and five-layer soundproof glass. Unique features include Adaptive Ventilation that changes depending on the passenger’s weight, and a 24-hour air conditioning function that works even when parked. The 26.7 kWh battery allows fast DC charging from 30 percent to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.
For safety, the T1 Lightning i-DM includes airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and several driver assistance systems. These include Corner Brake Control, Traction Control, Hill Assist, Stability Control, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Front Collision Warning with Active Braking, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
You can now get the JETOUR T1 Lightning i-DM for an introductory price of P1,798,000. After this limited offer, the price will go up to P1,898,000. It comes in five colors: Night Black, Sand Gold, Electroplated Green, Silver Snow, and Khaki White. See the full specs and the rest of the Jetour lineup on AutoDeal.com.ph.
