JMC Philippines lifts the curtain on their powerful new pickups, the Grand Avenue and Vigus, at the 2024 Manila International Auto Show. The company has already released the pricing and specs for these upcoming trucks, which definitely caused excitement among truck enthusiasts and potential buyers.
The Grand Avenue lineup will have four versions, starting with the 4x2 manual transmission (MT) priced at P1,221,000. Other variants include the 4x4 MT, 4x2 automatic transmission (AT), and 4x4 AT, with the highest model priced at P1,569,000.
Each variant is powered by a 2.3-liter diesel engine, which generates 174 horsepower and 450 Newton-meters of torque, available with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. One feature that will surely catch the attention of buyers is the lifetime warranty on the engine, along with a five-year service warranty.
All Grand Avenue models come standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, disc brakes on all wheels, cruise control, traction control, hill assistance, parking sensors, leather seats, and a 10-inch multimedia touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Buyers can choose from five colors: Pearl White, Shining Silver, Silver Sand Black, Sandy Brown, and Cosmic Gray.
On the other hand, the Vigus pickup targets the utility part and is available in two versions: the 4x2 MT priced at P995,000 and the 4x4 MT at P1,110,000. The Vigus comes with a 2.5-liter diesel engine, giving 128 horsepower and 315 Newton-meters of torque, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Don't worry; this pickup will also gain attention with the lifetime engine warranty. Among its good specs and features, the Vigus stands out with its payload capacity, ground clearance, and water-wading depth. The car runs on 16-inch alloy wheels, and it has disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
