Kia Philippines, under the ACMobility umbrella, closed 2025 with a solid performance, posting a 16.7 percent year-on-year increase in retail sales. The brand sold 7,810 vehicles during the year, up from 6,692 units in 2024, making it the fastest-growing established mainstream automotive brand in the local market.
“2025 was a defining year for Kia Philippines, as we achieved 16.7% year-on-year growth and emerged as the fastest-growing mainstream established automotive brand in the country. This milestone reflects the strength of our product portfolio, our customer-centric approach, and our commitment to offering mobility solutions that meet the evolving needs of Filipino Motorists.”
Kia Philippines’ performance was supported by consistent demand across its core models, particularly in competitive segments. The Kia Carnival ranked second in the premium midsize MPV category and posted a 30 percent year-on-year increase, continuing to appeal to buyers looking for space, comfort, and everyday usability. The Kia Sonet also emerged as a key contributor, finishing second in the entry subcompact crossover segment with a 54 percent year-on-year growth. The addition of the Sonet K-Style Edition further strengthened the model’s presence by offering a more expressive design option.
“The performance in 2025 reflects how Filipino motorists responded to our cars, our service, and the people behind the brand,” said Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines. “It’s a result of a year focused on delivering a better ownership experience every day.”
In 2025, Kia Philippines also completed its local powertrain lineup, offering internal combustion, fully electric, and turbo-hybrid vehicles. The introduction of turbo-hybrid models such as the Kia Sorento Hybrid and Kia Carnival Turbo Hybrid helped expand the brand’s reach as more customers looked for options that balance performance, efficiency, and sustainability. According to the company, this approach supports broader efforts toward more sustainable mobility while maintaining choice for consumers.
Beyond sales, Kia Philippines received recognition for improvements in customer experience and dealer performance. The brand earned the 2025 Sales Customer Satisfaction Significant Improvement Award from Kia Asia Pacific, highlighting measurable gains in sales customer satisfaction. Kia Pasig was also named the 2025 Global Best Dealer, reflecting the local network’s alignment with global Kia standards for sales and aftersales service.
