Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC), the official local distributor of Kia vehicles, highlighted how the 11-seater version of its Grand Carnival MPV can transform your everyday travel.
As its name implies, this vehicle can accommodate 11 occupants. The seats can then be configured in various ways for carrying many different cargos like luggage for long weekend getaways, camping gear, and more.
Aside from this, the seats are also wrapped in what Kia refers to as their “stain-less technology cloth.” This new seat material does wonders, especially for those who are very particular about cleanliness during and after journeys. Liquid stains such as spilled coffee or juice simply bead up, allowing for easy cleaning by just wiping them away. Meanwhile, hard to remove stains like drips of gravy or ketchup that have been rubbed in can easily be removed using soap and water.
There’s also a wide center console with easy-to-reach controls for light, active eco system, and engine. As centerpiece, the console comes with a 3.5-inch touch screen display. Other than showing vehicle information and entertainment functions, this screen also doubles as a rearview camera monitor.
All these cabin comfort and convenience features are packaged under a sleek-looking body. It flaunts an aerodynamic silhouette, strong character lines, and the brand’s signature grille.
At the heart of the Kia Grand Carnival 11-Seater is a diesel-fed 2.2L inline 4-cylinder engine that delivers 193 hp and 441 Nm of torque. This is partnered to a 6-speed automatic transmission with Sport Mode for a spirited drive on the open road. Moreover, the Grand Carnival’s engine posted 19.20 km/l of fuel consumption, according to the recent 280 Km Euro 4 Fuel Efficiency Run by the Department of Energy (DOE) and Petron Corporation.
