Before we purchase any vehicle, it goes without saying that some time behind the wheel is required, and, in some cases, the absolute deciding factor when it all comes down to it. Coventry Motors, the official distributor of Jaguar and Land Rover in the Philippines, knows this, and with the responsibility of marketing and selling these brands to the public, the opportunity to drive some of their vehicles in a controlled environment is something you really can’t pass up.
From May 26-27, 2018, Coventry Motors will be holding a weekend test drive experience for their brands, with each offering a unique experience for those interested to register.
Located at Mega Tent in Quezon City, registered guests will get to try out their Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, with each having specially tailored guided courses that showcase the driving dynamics of each manufacturer. The tour actually travels around the world, where it coordinates with local distributors of the brands to set up a pop up driving experience.
Jaguar’s “The Art of Performance Tour” highlights the handling and performance characteristics of their vehicles. A handful of exercises including slaloms and high speed maneuvers were highlights, utilizing the traits of the XF, XE and F Pace.
Land Rover gets a chance to romp around some obstacles and steep inclines with their “Above and Beyond Tour”. A wading pool and side slopes were featured, showcasing the technology and performance of the Velar, Discovery, and Range Rover.
All exercises were supervised by instructors who are experts in their field, walking us through every step of the individual courses. Great fun, especially for those who want to see what each vehicle can offer in terms of technology and performance.
