Eight years ago, Lynk & Co was just getting started. Lynk & Co celebrated its 8th anniversary this October, looking back on its progress since launching in 2016. The brand, created by Geely and Volvo, now has more than 1.24 million customers worldwide. Over the last eight years, Lynk & Co has grown its lineup of cars, introduced new vehicles, and expanded into different areas of the world.
Over time, Lynk & Co has launched 10 types of vehicles, including compact, mid-size, and full-size models. These options include traditional gas-powered cars, hybrids, and fully electric vehicles. In 2024, the brand introduced its first fully electric sedan, the Z10, in Sweden, which shows how Lynk & Co is likely to add more electric vehicles to its lineup and continue supporting greener transport.
In 2022, Lynk & Co introduced a new design idea called “The Next Day,” inspired by the look of big cities. The brand used this fresh style on its latest models, like the Lynk & Co 08. With its reworked design approach, Lynk & Co wants to keep its cars looking modern and attractive. Lynk & Co has also proven its strength in racing, winning six World TCR championships between 2019 and 2023. The racing experience has helped the brand create cars that both look good and also high-performing for everyday driving.
Since starting its worldwide expansion, Lynk & Co has entered markets like Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and Latin America. The brand now has close to 700 Centers, Spaces, and Clubs, creating more ways for people to experience the brand. These locations are meant to give car buyers and owners a unique experience, helping Lynk & Co achieve its goal of being "More Than a Car."
Lynk & Co is looking to expand its reach around the world, and with more people interested in green vehicles, its lineup is something to watch.
