The gates of Lynk & Co have finally opened to reveal its first electric sedan with a starting price of approximately P1.6M, the Z10, and it’s already getting a lot of attention. Lynk & Co recently announced the launch of the Z10, its first fully electric car. The new model is built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, which supports only electric power. The Z10 is classified as a premium E-Class sedan and has shown the direction of the carmaker towards more environmentally friendly cars, including their existing plug-in hybrids.
The Z10 is built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, which is known for its intelligent electric design. The car shares some visual features with the Zeekr 001, especially the SEA platform, but the Z10 opts for a fastback sedan shape instead of a hatchback. The sedan follows Lynk & Co’s "Mega-City Contrast" visual perspective, and features the second-generation visual language, "The Next Day," which gives the car its modern and recognizable look. The car comes in several colors that match the changing lights of a city sunrise, adding extra layers of style.
In terms of performance, the Z10 moves fast—to put it simply. It can speed up from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. The Z10 has also been finely tuned for over 800 hours on professional race tracks and another 500 hours on mountain roads to perfect its driving dynamics and performance. Safety-wise, you have nothing to worry about as the Z10's battery safety exceeds industry standards, having passed numerous severe industry tests.
Lynk & Co is planning to sell more cars around the world, and we're all wondering when the Z10 will come to the Philippines. Filipinos are curious to know when the Z10 will be up for sale here, given the growing interest in green vehicles. While we're waiting for official details, you can explore other Lynk & Co cars on AutoDeal and request a quote for any that interests you.
