Holy Week is just around the corner, and as one of the longest weekends in the Philippines draws near, road trip season will also follow in tow. Caltex, which is marketed by Chevron Philippines, Inc. (CPI), is expecting an increase in the number of motorists leaving town. The company says, from April 17 to 21, 2019 families and barkadas who are going out of town to participate in Visita Iglesia can avail of a free vehicle check-up and emergency road assistance under CPI’s, Ka-Roadtrip Motorists Assistance Program. The aim of this project is to help ensure that your next road trip will be hassle-free and safe for all passengers and drivers.
Exciting promos can also be enjoyed by motorists when they fuel up at Caltex stations on the two major expressways leading out of the city. Caltex NLEX, SLEX Southbound, and NLEX Northbound are all participating in this event this Lenten season.
You can try your luck at the Litter Lottery promo where a P10/liter discount may be availed when purchasing fuel. All you have to do is be lucky enough to have the last digit of your plate number match the last digit of the pump meter when buying a full tank’s worth of fuel to be able to get a discount up to P10. Promo hours run from 12 noon to 8 PM on Holy Week Wednesday on April 17, 2019. Other dates to avail of this promo run from 8 AM to 5 PM on Maundy Thursday, April 18, 2019, and Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019.
Caltex will not be alone in providing for motorists during this year’s Holy Week. Toyota has its Motorist Assistance Program and will cater to any Toyota vehicle owner who finds himself at the Caltex SLEX Southbound station, Caltex SLEX Northbound, and at Caltex Rosario, La Union from April 18 to April 21, 2019 from 8 AM to 5 PM.
GMA’s Bantay Biyahe on April 18 will happen from 10 AM to 3 PM at Caltex SLEX Southbound, and will happen in Caltex SLEX Northbound from 5 PM to 10 PM.
Caltex’s program spans other major holidays throughout the year as well. These holidays include, Undas, Lent, and Christmas. The program was set up back in 2013 to help ease Filipinos through the daunting task of driving long distances.
