Bermaz Auto Philippines has a sweet treat for all the Mazda MX-5 lovers and prospective buyers. The latest iteration of the famous Japanese sports roadster is now in the Philippines, and it’s packed with dynamic and safety improvements.
The MX-5 literally gets the cherry on top, as the limited-edition Dark Cherry fabric canopy is now exclusively available for the soft top variant – specifically the six-speed automatic SkyActiv variant. You may pair this stylish soft top option with Mazda's signature Machine Gray body color, now available for the Soft Top variant. The new Soul Red Crystal shade, on the other hand, is available in select variants.
Improvements aren't limited to the exterior since you can expect the iconic Japanese sports roadster's suspension tuning and power steering system re-tuned as well. This particular upgrade guarantees more agile handling and even better riding comfort.
There are also additional new powertrain options to select from. We're talking about the 2018 MX-5 Retractable Fastback coming in with a six-speed manual SkyActive.
In addition, the 2018 MX-5 comes with safety upgrades. All RF variants and the AT Soft Top variant, are equipped with Adaptive LED Headlamps (ALH) with automatic headlight aim control. You may now adapt to dynamic driving conditions whenever it's needed. Also standard in these models is the Lane Departure Warning, which alerts the driver every time the car strays out of a lane.
“There has always been a strong demand for the MX-5 in the Philippines. By offering our customers not only an improved product, but also more trim options to choose from, we believe our fans will be able to find the ideal sports car that expresses their love and passion for driving.”
For people looking out on buying the 2018 MX-5, prices start at P1,880,000 for the manual soft top, while the top-range MX-5 AT with Nappa Leather is at P2,300,000.
