Mazda Philippines has recently announced that it is continuing its special introductory offer on the 2022 BT-50 pickup truck. While the vehicle itself launched back in November of 2021, the Japanese automaker had something special in store for the first 200 buyers. Those who got the vehicle in its 4x2 AT or 4x4 AT configuration were automatically treated to a P80,000 accessory pack that was free with their purchase.
This accessory offer was originally meant for the first 200 buyers of the pickup truck, however, the Japanese automaker has decided to extend to cover the first 300 customers. This comes after the brand experienced a warm reception for the vehicle and encountered some delays with its arrival of units.
With that in mind, here is what customers get when they buy a BT-50 with the special offer still running. Customers get a lockable roller-type bed cover with a black finish, matte black fender flares, and a black front scuff plate with a silver accent. All these additions equate to P80,000 worth of accessories that customers will still get for free, at least for the first 300 that order. These accessories will in turn help give the pickup truck a unique look and help differentiate it from the rest of the regular BT-50 that are sold after the promo ends.
The 2022 Mazda BT-50 is the brand's latest version of its popular pickup truck nameplate. It comes with an all-new design, all-new chassis, and an all-new engine. It is now powered by a 3.0-liter turbo diesel motor that produces 187hp and 450 Nm of torque, the new motor is also standard across all of its variants. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 4x2 AT variant of the BT-50 is priced at P1,430,000 and its 4x4 AT counterpart is priced at P1,790,000.
