MG Philippines has been around in the country for quite some time now, and gladly, the brand has been smooth sailing in the Philippines all thanks to its strong line of vehicles including the MG 5, MG 6, MG RX5, and MG ZS. Back in February, MG Philippines announced that there will be three new models that are set to join its local lineup, unfortunately, that plan was somewhat hindered by the ongoing pandemic. Now, it may seem that The Covenant Car Company (TCCCI), the official distributor of MG vehicles in the country, is resetting the delayed plan already. As MG Philippines celebrates its second anniversary, the brand is then set to push through with its new car launches this coming 2021 instead.
First on the list is the RX8 SUV, which was supposed to be launched this year, there’s also an additional MPV, a new sedan, and another new SUV. Apart from those standard models, MG might also join the electric revolution, as they plan to give Filipinos a glimpse of the ZS EV. Perhaps, this should be an interesting expansion for its current lineup, therefore providing Filipino customers with more potential options to choose from.
As we drive towards our second year of representing the brand MG in the Philippines, we would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to everyone on this journey of growth for MG Philippines. It has been both fruitful and fulfilling.
Gladly, many Filipinos have openly accepted the MG brand since its official entry to the Phili[ppine market back in two years. By that, they’re indeed filled with such optimism, therefore, motivating them to introduce more exciting models that are recognized globally. Apart from that, its esteemed lineup shall be further strengthened with its top-notch aftersales services, in order to heighten the overall MG experience.
