Mitsubishi Motor Philippines Corporation (MMPC) adds another to its growing lineup of dealerships. MMPC, together with Fast Autoworld Philippines Corporation (FAPC), inaugurated the brand’s newest dealership in Mactan, Cebu.
For FAPC this is its third dealership outlet in Cebu and the 10th dealership spread across Visayas and Mindanao. The new dealership counts as MMPC’s 55th dealership nationwide. The dealership also carries the new look of the Mitsubishi Motors Global Corporate and Visual Identity design.
The dealership features a total floor area of 4,500 square meters. It also features an 8-car showroom where customers can see Mitsubishi’s latest lineup of vehicles such as the Montero Sport and Strada. Customers who want to have their vehicles serviced at the new dealership will be happy to know that it contains 23 service bays. Customers can expect top quality services and aftersales support for their Mitsubishi vehicles.
The move of FAPC and MMPC to open a new dealership in Mactan aims to take the opportunity to serve the growing need for transportation and mobility in the area. Mactan is also a rapidly growing economic area and could be an important market to corner for the Japanese brand.
More than the facility itself, I believe that this new dealership is a testament of commitment and trust between MMPC and FAPC, we recognize their strong performance in the region that plays a vital role in the sustainability of the brand in a highly competitive market.
If this is the new dealership is anything to go by, then it looks like Mitsubishi has plans to further expand in the Philippines. With these new dealerships, the Japanese brand is sure to take a bigger piece of the Philippine automotive market, especially with new models set to enter the market within the year.
