It’s hard bouncing back after a typhoon, especially when your car takes a hit too. So, after the recent typhoons, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is offering support through a program called S.O.S., which stands for Support On Standby. This program aims to help customers with vehicles that were damaged by floodwater by offering discounts on parts and repairs.
Starting August 6, 2025, the S.O.S. program will give up to a 30 percent discount on selected genuine parts for Mitsubishi vehicles that were affected by flooding. This includes important systems like the engine, electronics, and other components that may have been damaged during heavy rain and deep water. The program runs until November 6, 2025, and will be available at all Mitsubishi dealerships nationwide that are accredited by the DTI.
According to MMPC After Sales Executive Vice President Toko Imai, this program is meant to show the company’s support for its customers during tough times. He shared that Mitsubishi understands how important cars are not just for everyday use, but also for work and family. He also said that this effort is one way of giving back and helping customers recover faster.
“This program reflects our strong commitment to supporting our customers during difficult times. We understand that our customers rely on their vehicles, not just for convenience, but also for their livelihoods and families. Their trust in Mitsubishi is something we value deeply, and this program is one way we can give back by helping them recover quickly.”
Owners of flood-damaged Mitsubishi vehicles can bring their units to participating dealerships for an inspection. Once checked, repairs will be done by trained technicians using genuine parts to ensure safety and long-term reliability. The discount will apply only to parts replaced under this program.
The S.O.S. Flood Assistance Program is part of MMPC’s continuing effort to support its customers during disasters. For more info, customers are encouraged to visit the nearest Mitsubishi dealership or browse available Mitsubishi models from the comfort of their home through AutoDeal.com.ph.
