Despite MMDA’s preparation in cleaning the drainage system for this rainy season, the agency identified the flood prone areas in the metro to warn the public.
If you’re living in Makati City, it’s no surprise that Pasong Tamo (Aranaiz – Don Bosco) is included the list of flood-prone areas. In addition, SLEX under Sales Brigde also made the list. Other flood-prone areas in Makati are the following:
Buendia Ave. (Bautista-Washington)
EDSA – Ayala Tunnel
EDSA – Pasong Tamo Tunnel
Pasong Tamo (Yague – J. P. Rizal )
Magallanes Interchange
C5 – Kalayaan

Aside from Makati City, the MMDA also listed down the flood-prone areas in Pasay City which includes Domestic Road corner MIA Road and Roxas Blvd. fronting Madrigal. Other flood-prone areas in Pasay City are the following:
EDSA – Taft
Taft – Protacio
Roxas Blvd. (San Juan – Sta. Monica)
Aurora Ave. - Corner Andrews
F. B. Harrison – EDSA
F. B. Harrison – Balagtas
Taft Avenue Extension Baclaran
Andrews Avenue (Oval)

Further down South, Sucat Interchange fronting Jollibee, and Quirino Avenue corner Kabihasnan in Paranaque City are among the flood-prone areas. The list of other flood-prone areas in Paranaque City are as follows:
Baclaran Vicinity - Junction of Redemptoris / Quirino Ave. & F.B. Harrison
Roxas Blvd. – Service road in front of Chowking
Quirino Ave., Tambo
Sucat Road from Olivarez to SM
East Service Road corner Bagong Tanyag
East Service Road in front of Daughters of Charity Provincial House
