Mitsubishi Thailand has released a teaser image of what could be a facelifted version of the Mirage. What can be seen in the teaser photo is that the new Mirage and its G4 sedan counterpart featuring the brand’s Dynamic Shield design language. It’s not quite as boxy as its the Montero Sport, Strada, and Xpander stablemates but it's closer to the older generation midsize SUV. Most of the vehicle is covered in shadows with only a couple of key features being showcased in the photo.

The front features two prominent lines that center the tri-diamond badge. Chrome accents can be seen leading from the headlights all the way down to the lower bumper. The headlights have also gone through a redesign compared to the older model. It now features projector types and what appears to be daytime running lights located at the upper portion of the headlight housing. Absent from the teaser photos are fog lights.
Moving on to the limited view of the rear. The facelifted vehicle now features a rear side profile close to that of a 10th generation Corolla Altis. The rear taillights are now more pronounced at the back. A rear trunk spoiler is also present in the photo as well as what appears to be a longer bumper. The overall design looks sleeker but still retains some design cues keeping the vehicle fresh but familiar. Not much else can be seen as only the sedan and the front of the vehicle is shown in the teaser photo. If there is anything to go by the hatchback, Mirage will also share the front of the vehicle. There are no official photos yet that show off what the hatchback version looks like from the rear.
There are still a lot of unknowns about the facelifted vehicle. There is no word yet if it will receive a new engine or transmission options or what its new power figures are. The new Mirage and Mirage G4 will be launched on November 18, 2019, in Thailand. We will update you once we get more details about the popular subcompact vehicle and its new looks and features.
