Stop the countdown! Mitsubishi has finally revealed its upgraded Triton truck with tons of new and improved features and performance. The new Triton now has a stronger engine and updated tech, which should make it even better.
The new 4N16 2.4-liter Diesel engine is a powerhouse, giving out 204 hp at 3,500 rpm and a max torque of 470 Nm between 1,500-2,750 rpm. The engine also meets Euro 5 emission standards, making it less harmful and better for the environment.
The Triton’s multimedia system has been upgraded for improved connectivity and entertainment, as it now features a nine-inch touchscreen with AM/FM radio, Bluetooth, USB ports, and wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto support. The modern system allows drivers to stay connected and entertained while on the move.
In terms of safety, the new Triton comes with airbags, a 360-degree camera, a hill start assist, a trailer stability assist, and a system to help prevent collisions with pedestrian detection. Inside, the Triton has orange synthetic leather seats with black quilted suede inserts, which look good and are comfy. The driver’s seat can be adjusted in 10 different ways so that you can find the perfect driving position.
The Triton now has an electric power steering with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and you can adjust the tilt and telescopic settings. It also has cruise control, making long drives more fun and comfortable.

Starting from the Triton GL 4x2 MT priced at Php 1,134,000, to the GLX 4x4 MT at Php 1,561,000, there’s a Triton for every type of job and driver out there. Not to mention, the premium GLS 4x2 AT is tagged at Php 1,582,000, offering even more features and comfort. At the top of the range, the Triton Athlete 4x4 AT stands at Php 1,909,000, loaded with all the premium features for the ultimate driving experience.
