It’s been a little over a year since the Ford Ranger, along with the Everest, launched in the Philippines. Ford is happy to report that the Ranger remains the best-selling name in the lineup with the brand crossing the 15,000th customer milestone in a mere 14 months from the day it was first made available.
As of September 2023, the data from Ford came in, and the Next-Generation Ranger totalled 16,127 units since its launch in July 2022. It has remained the most desirable and popular Ford in the country in the first nine months of the year, with its sales figures growing by 22 percent year-to-date with 9,113 units sold during that period.
“We are elated with the achievement of this new milestone for the Next-Gen Ranger, which is a true testament to its growing popularity among Filipino pickup truck buyers. It is the smartest, most versatile, and most capable Ranger yet, and was developed with our customers in mind. We thank our loyal base of Ranger owners for their trust and our dealers for continuing to enhance the ownership experience,”
It’s no secret why people like the Next-Generation Ranger. The commanding exterior design is matched with LED lights, a strong grille, and features that will wow you day in and day out. The model makes good on its features with an eight-inch gauge cluster, and a 10 or 12-inch portrait touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto thanks to Ford’s SYNC 4A system. On top of that, there is also a 360-degree camera in select variants that allows owners to see everything around them while parking or while driving through tight spots.
Apart from that, the model gets 207 hp and 500 Nm of torque from its 2.0-liter Bi-Turbo diesel engine in its top-of-the-line trim, or 168 hp and 405 Nm of torque in the 2.0-liter single turbo variant.
