Last Sunday, Nissan Philippines held its first-ever Nissan Festival at Clark International Speedway, marking a major gathering for the brand’s local enthusiast community. Carrying the theme “Driven by Passion, Powered by Legacy,” the event drew more than 1,700 attendees and stood as the largest official meet-up of Nissan car clubs and fans in the country to date.
Activities kicked off with a Car Club Parade and Heritage Lap, where more than 50 parade cars and 10 heritage models took to the track, led by various Nissan car clubs alongside members of the Stance Pilipinas community.
Away from the track, the festival explored the crossover between automotive culture and art through a collaboration with artist QUICCS, also known as Juanito Maiquez. Inspired by the Nissan Z NISMO, the display featured a one-off installation that included a life-sized TEQ63 figure and a custom diecast model.
Guests also had access to partner exhibits from brands such as Motul Philippines, Overland Kings, Yokohama Tires, Brembo Brakes, PIAA, SONAX, Little Trees, and Shell Pilipinas, offering product showcases and interactive displays throughout the venue.
Track action resumed in the afternoon with driving demonstrations led by professional driver Ashley Sison. Nissan brand ambassador Matteo Guidicelli also took part in on-track sessions, joined by racing drivers Marlon Stockinger and Inigo Anton, an F4 Motul racer and brand ambassador. One of the most talked-about appearances came from Hiroshi Tamura, best known as the “Father of the GT-R,” who met with fans and joined three selected participants for a ride-along around the circuit.
Nissan Philippines also hinted at an active year ahead, teasing new additions to its local lineup during the event.
“Seeing our community celebrate Nissan’s legacy firsthand reflects the passion that drives our brand. This festival marks the beginning of an active year for us as we continue to bring new vehicles and daring experiences to the Philippine market.”
The Nissan Festival wrapped up as a full-day showcase of the brand’s motorsport roots, heritage, and lifestyle appeal. For those looking to explore Nissan’s current lineup, the Nissan Car Guide is available on AutoDeal.com.ph.
