Nissan issues a voluntary recall of their vehicles due to faulty Takata airbag inflators

To ensure safety and satisfaction among their customers, Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) has issued a voluntary recall to their old vehicle models. This is due to faulty passenger airbag inflators from the Japanese auto parts supplier Takata.

Nissan vehicles included in the recall are the 2003 to 2008 production units of the Frontier, the X-Trail 200, and the Patrol. In addition to that, Nissan Teana models produced from 2004 to 2008 are also included.

Owners of the affected vehicles can call the Nissan Customer Assistance Center (NCAC) hotline at (02) 403-65-93 or visit their nearest Nissan Dealership to schedule a repair appointment. This will be free of charge to the customers.
