It looks like it should be parked beside six-figure sedans, but the Nissan N7 is priced more like your first car. Nissan surprised many with the launch of the N7 EV at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show.
While most expected small updates or more hybrid crossovers, the N7 turned out to be a full-on electric sedan that’s both roomy and budget-friendly. It shares its platform with the Dongfeng eπ 007 but carries Nissan's own design and features. It’s currently for the Chinese market only, but it’s worth watching in case it expands elsewhere.
Prices for the N7 in China start at around P1.06M, which is for the base N7 510 Air and comes with a 58 kWh LFP battery and a claimed 510 km of range under the CLTC test cycle. The mid-level N7 510 Pro is priced at about P1.18 million, and the N7 510 Max comes in at P1.28 million, both with the same range.
For those who want more range, the N7 620 Pro and 625 Max offer a 73 kWh battery with a longer 625 km range (CLTC). These are priced at P1.28 million and P1.38 million respectively. All variants are front-wheel drive and use a 400V system. Power output varies from 215 hp to 268 hp, depending on the model.
Inside, the cabin leans toward the modern EV look. There’s a large 15.6-inch infotainment screen, a digital gauge cluster, wireless phone charging pads, and a two-spoke steering wheel. Most controls are done through the screen, with only a few physical buttons on the wheel. Nissan hasn’t said yet if the N7 will be sold outside China, but with its size, range, and price, it might work well for the Philippine market, if it ever gets here.
