Just when you thought that the Nissan Juke couldn’t get any funkier, Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) adds a new variant to its ‘quirky buggy’ – the limited edition Juke N-Style.
This is an addition to the Juke’s current lineup, which includes the striped N-Sport that was released last year.
When we took the Juke for a long drive, it literally turned heads as we pass. The new Juke N-Style takes this visual appeal to another level. It’s available in 2 new color combinations – the existing Obsidian Black color variant is showered with yellow accents, like a bumble bee, while the new Cosmic Blue color option has them white. With their color combinations, they basically look like blown-up toys. If you ask us, love them or hate them, but they’re cute.
Whether you dig the Juke’s new look, it will depend on your taste in cars. This brings us to question, will this new variant finally turn the hearts of its critics?
The accents for both color choices are painted on different parts of the cars, including the accessories that were added to it. These are the side mirror caps, door handle covers, side sills, front and rear bumper, sports skirt, roof spoiler, boot handle, and tailgate finisher.
To match the exterior, parts of the cabin such as the center console, gear shift knob, arm rest, and air vent rings are also painted the same as the detailed accents. The stitching on the seats, door finishers, and steering wheel also follows the color scheme.
As for its powertrain, there are no upgrades yet with this new variant. Those who are hopeful for the turbocharged NISMO version of the Juke may have to wait for another year or so…or not.
The Nissan Juke N-Style can be bought for P1,080,000. Only 500 units of this new variant (both colors combined) will be sold in Nissan dealerships nationwide, so interested buyers should start reserving theirs today.
