Nissan Navara Lipa City

In an effort to strengthen its response teams in the area, the Lipa City Government has distributed Nissan Navara pickup trucks to 40 of its barangays to increase productivity and the speed of operations. Even during trying times, the delivery of these vehicles for the benefit of the city of Lipa is welcome news.

Senator Ralph Recto was in attendance at the turnover ceremony along with other government officials from the area which includes Lipa City’s Mayor Eric Africa who was also joined by his Vice-Mayor Makmak Luancing. “Team Talino at Puso” was the name given to the trucks during the ceremony which was held back on June 26, 2020, at the Lipa City Hall.

More on “Team Talino at Puso,” the initiative was started by Senator Ralph Recto, Deputy Speaker Batangas 6th district representative, Vilma Santos-Recto, and the Lipa City Government along with its members.

Senator Recto went on record to state his approval of the allotted vehicles for the program, he states, “These challenging times call for smart and compassionate action. These vehicles are part of Team Talino at Puso programs that provide timely support and services for our constituents.”

These multipurpose, durable, and reliable vehicles empower our barangays to advance crucial services to more Lipeños faster.
Nissan Navara Turnover Lipa City

The Nissan Navara should serve the citizens of Lipa well. Powered by frugal diesel engines and with a chassis that was built for both comfort and robust performance, the Navara can seem a perfect platform for a response vehicle especially when road conditions may change many times over the course of a journey. No mention was made on the variants procured by the city’s government, but even in its baser trims, the Navara remains a capable hauler or mode of transportation for almost all tasks especially in the Philippines.
