During the Japan Mobility Show, Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. revealed its latest creation, the Nissan Hyper Force, marking the culmination of a remarkable series of five "hyper" concept vehicles. These groundbreaking EV concepts have been unveiled one by one, each week since October 3, leading up to this grand showcase. Nissan's ability to foresee a diverse range of future customer needs and lifestyles and its dedication to enriching people's lives with innovation and excitement were on full display.
Makoto Uchida, Nissan's president and CEO, emphasized the significance of these five concept cars as symbols of the future, embodying the company's core ethos of daring to venture where others do not. These vehicles represent a substantial advancement in EV technology, moving beyond mere mobility to contribute to a more sustainable world. These EVs symbolize Nissan's vision of creating a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive world for everyone, without compromising on the thrill and dreams associated with driving. Through innovation, Nissan aims to establish a future where mobility is not just a necessity but a source of excitement for all.
The Nissan Hyper Force is specifically designed for racing enthusiasts and gamers who crave the adrenaline rush of the racetrack while also being eco-conscious. It is an all-electric high-performance supercar that promises the ultimate driving pleasure alongside impressive environmental performance and daily comfort.
At its core, this vehicle boasts a high-output all-electric powertrain with a state-of-the-art solid-state battery, capable of producing up to 1341 hp of power with precise and rapid acceleration. The advanced e-4ORCE all-wheel control technology and a lightweight, high-strength carbon body contribute to exceptional cornering and handling on both circuits and winding roads.
The exterior design is a fusion of sleek curves and bold geometry, reflecting the high-performance capabilities underneath. It incorporates elements paying homage to Nissan's history of high-performance cars, and its aerodynamic design, developed in collaboration with the NISMO racing team, generates substantial downforce. Innovative aerodynamic features, such as a dual-level rear diffuser and active aero functionality, enhance grip and stability during high-speed cornering.
The Nissan Hyper Force offers two distinct driving modes, "R" for racing and "GT" for grand touring. The graphical user interface adapts to these modes, presenting the driver with relevant information. In R mode, the cabin illuminates in red, creating an immersive driving experience focused on performance, with screens displaying critical racing data. In GT mode, the cabin illuminates in blue, offering a more comfortable and simplified infotainment interface, making long-distance drives a breeze.
Safety is a paramount concern in this concept car, featuring advanced autonomous drive capabilities with hyper LIDAR and an array of sensors tailored for sports driving. This ensures a high level of safety both on public roads and the race circuit.
To elevate the experience further, Nissan has incorporated innovative augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) features, allowing drivers to seamlessly switch between the real and virtual worlds. Whether it's racing against the clock or competing against digital ghosts on a circuit, the Hyper Force offers a gamified driving experience while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
All in all, the Nissan Hyper Force represents a paradigm shift in the realm of performance cars. It caters to the evolving preferences of environmentally conscious consumers, offering eco-friendliness, electrifying performance, and cutting-edge safety equipment. This concept car is Nissan's vision for a next-generation, all-electric, high-performance supercar that combines the thrill of racing with a commitment to a sustainable future.
