Strong sales and great features make the Kia EV3 stand out in the EV market. Kia’s global sales recently reached 30,89,457 units in 2024, a slight increase compared to the previous year. Among its standout models is the EV3, which has drawn attention for its good electric features and long driving range. Powered by an 81.4 kWh battery, the EV3 offers a range of up to 601 kilometers, making it an efficient and eco-friendly option for everyday use.
The EV3 joins Kia’s lineup of popular models, including the Sportage, which topped global sales with 587,717 units in 2024, followed by the Seltos and Sorento SUVs. The EV3 also offers a smaller battery option of 42 kWh, providing a range of 390 kilometers. It supports fast charging, allowing the battery to go from 10 to 80 percent in under an hour, making it convenient for daily driving or longer trips.
Inside, the EV3 features a spacious and modern cabin with dual 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and driving information. It includes smart climate controls and three driving modes—Eco, Normal, and Sport—giving drivers the flexibility to match their preferences. The look takes inspiration from Kia’s EV9, giving a bold and modern look while also providing passengers with comfort and ease of use.
Kia also reported strong global sales in December 2024, with 240,537 units sold, an 11.8 percent increase compared to the same month in 2023. Globally, the EV3 competes with models like the Volvo EX30 and Honda CR-V but remains strong thanks to its affordable price and modern technology. Kia’s principle on electric vehicles, along with the EV3’s popularity, shows the brand’s good reputation in giving practical and eco-friendly cars to today’s drivers.
As Kia wants higher global sales of 3.22 million units in 2025, the EV3 remains an important part of its pledge toward cleaner and more efficient transportation.
