Petron Corporation is named as the official fuel and engine oil supplier of the 2017 Formula 4 South East Asia (SEA) championship.
As such, the Petron Blaze 100 Euro 6 will be used as the official fuel, while the Petron Blaze Racing engine oil will be the official lubricant of the said racing series.
According to the international testing institutions, the Petron Blaze 100 Euro 6 contains a 100-octane pure gasoline formulation, which is said to be capable of providing a powerful engine performance and acceleration.
On the other hand, Petron Blaze Racing has a Thermal Stress Stabilizing System (TS3) that intends to decrease engine stress even at high temperatures during racing competitions. This fully-synthetic oil provides engine stress protection, thermal stability, and engine cleanliness.
“We are proud to fuel the 2017 Formula 4 South East Asia Championship and welcome this opportunity to show how our proudly Philippine-made Petron Blaze 100 Euro 6 gasoline and Petron Blaze Racing engine oil meet the severe demands of international competitive racing. We hope that the young Formula 4 drivers will appreciate the performance advantages of our world-class products.”
To give you an idea, the Formula 4 series is basically the stepping stone towards the Federation Internationale de l’Automobil or FIA-certified career in formula racing. The said competition measures the driver’s experience and development using FIA-F4 homologated race cars and engines.
The 2017 Formula 4 SEA will have a total of 30 races. The 2nd leg of the racing series will be held in the Philippines from October 20 to 22 at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga City.
