
Peugeot Philippines launches the new Peugeot 3008 Active Petrol. The new crossover has a starting price of P1,890,000 and features a new gasoline engine option and the i-Cockpit suite of features.
The launch of the 3008 SUV Active Petrol is exciting for us because we are finally able to compete fairly with the best products the industry has to offer. It also affirms the commitment of the Peugeot brand to the Philippines.

The 3008 crossover features Peugeot’s i-Cockpit which comes with an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen for infotainment and a configurable 12.3-inch heads up display instrument panel. Sound is sent via a 6-speaker sound system that includes two tweeters. The i-Cockpit system also comes with two amplifying options: Boost and Relax.
For the interior, the Peugeot 3008 features Mistral TEP leather with fabric trim. The driver’s seat gets 8-way power adjustment, with two memory settings, lumbar support, adjustable seat cushion, a heating system, and a massage function. The front passenger seat, on the other hand, gets a seat with mechanical height adjustment, a flat-folding function, power seat angle adjustment, power lumbar support, seat cushion adjustment and a heating and massage function similar to that of the driver’s seat.
For safety, the vehicle comes standard with six airbags, 3-point seatbelts all around, ABS and EBD. it also comes with front and rear parking sensors plus a rearview camera with Visiopark 1, a 180-degree camera function. Added passive safety features include Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, and Advanced grip control with five settings.
Added bonuses to buying a Peugeot product they automatically come with Auto sweep and Easytrip RFIDs loaded with P500 each.
Powering the vehicle is a 1.6-liter turbo high-pressure gasoline engine. The engine can produce 165 hp and 240 Nm of torque. The engine can be had with a 6-speed efficient automatic transmission. It also features paddles when you want manual control of the vehicle. On top of this, it also features two modes, manual and sport.
The vehicle comes standard with a 3-year warranty plus an additional 2 years of extended coverage. Owners also have access to Peugeot’s 24/7 hotline for roadside assistance and maintenance servicing and scheduling. Available color options for the 3008 are as follows: Metallic Copper, Pearl White, and Platinum Gray.
