This year has seen the rapid rise of Phoenix Petroleum in the country that could see this proudly homegrown oil company, becoming one of the major players in the industry soon.
From its humble beginnings in Davao 15 years ago, the oil company began 2018 with an aggressive campaign that saw more gas stations built and a brand new product line launched within the first quarter of the year.
In January 2018, the oil company has opened its 100th station bearing its new branding. And according to Phoenix Petroleum, the company now has 530 stations nationwide. If our math is correct, it has expanded by as much as 430 branches in the Philippines in just five or so months.
Some of its new gas stations could be seen in Enrile Avenue, Tuguegarao; West Service Road, Muntinlupa City; San Pablo, Laguna; Mambaling, Cebu; Tanauan, Leyte; Magugpo East, Tagum City; and Tagbiliran, Bohol.
We are enhancing our network, products, services, and promotions, all in support of our vision to be an indispensable partner to our customers. We are focused on delivering value and operational excellence as we aim to make Phoenix Petroleum a credible alternative to the bigger players.
The second month of the year saw the company launching a brand new product line, the Phoenix PULSE Technology. The product is a fuel additive that offers three main benefits for enhanced power and acceleration: (1) it avoids fuel filter blockage for diesel-powered vehicles; (2) it removes deposits from fuel injectors, piston surfaces, and valves; and (3) it provides engine protection.
Aside from that, Phoenix Petroleum also signed motorsport enthusiast and actress Rhian Ramos to be its brand ambassador. She’s now seen in various marketing materials and on television promoting the brand.
Phoenix Petroleum even rolled out a promo in May that offered its customers as much as P5 off per liter on gasoline and P2 on diesel, thus enticing customer to try its products and at the same time, help in easing the burden of the fuel price hike. In case you missed that promo, then don’t worry as Phoenix promised that it will implement similar deal, on nationwide level, in the coming weeks.
