Volkswagen has revealed the Golf GTI Oettinger Edition at the 6th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). It is the brand’s new variant to their multi-awarded hatchback.
The first thing you’ll notice about the Golf GTI Oettinger Edition is its matte black color that exhumes a sporty aura. This is then further accentuated with red trims all over the accessories that has been added to the German brand’s best-selling hatchback.
It includes a front spoiler and splitter, side skirts, 4-pipe rear skirt insert with diffuser, roof spoiler, and a 4-pipe rear muffler. These accessories are all designed and manufactured by Oettinger Sportsystems, a German company that specializes in sporty accessories and engine design.

Moreover, the Golf GTI Oettinger Edition is equipped with 19-inch wheels. The size and color of these rims complements its active styling, a perfect match to the performance that this hatchback can offer.
Speaking of that, the engine inside the bonnet is still the same – the 2.0L TSI power plant that can generate up to 220 hp and 350 Nm of torque. This is then mated to the 6-speed DSG transmission and matched to sports-tuned suspension.
The interior of the Golf GTI Oettinger Edition remains the same, along with its standard high-tech features like parking sensors, keyless entry, push start ignition, dual zone air conditioning, and a Composition Media 5.8-inch touchscreen with mobile phone interface.
The Volkswagen Golf GTI Oettinger Edition sells at P2,918,511.16, which is P628,511.16 more than the regular Golf GTI.
